The Year’s Best and Worst Thrillers

There has been a lot of competition this year for which is going to be the biggest blockbuster hit and which will win the biggest awards. Trailers make out to seem like every thriller out there is going to be the best thriller of the entire century, but more times than not, it ends up being a bust and a disappointment. Then again, there are those movies that come out and surprise us.

Fast Five certainly took the lead when it came to the best box office bucks for best thriller. This movie stars Vin Diseil and Paul Walker, as well as the original gang, racing the best and coolest cars ever seen. Another thriller that was a huge success was Hanna, a movie about a trained assasin that the Cate Blanchett is out to get. However, the assasin is only sixteen years old. One of the most talked about thrillers of the year was The Lincoln Lawyer.

Going down into failures, The Roomate, starring Leighton Meister, topped the list of not only the worst failed movies of the year, but also the biggest thriller failure of the year. Coming in second, would be Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried.
